Fructose is hiding in your foods. It is a sweetener often referred to has high fructose corn syrup. It would appear that HFCS is one of the main causes of obesity. It is cheaper and 20% sweeter than sugar and it can be found in many common foods that are consumed on a daily basis. Fructose is found in processed foods both sweet and savory and in many commercial drinks. It has even been found in some supposed health foods.
